"Being human is not about being any one particular way; it is about being as life creates you–with your own strengths and weaknesses, gifts and challenges, quirks and oddities"

-Kristen Neff

Welcome

Slowing down is hard when our lives are busy, and we feel out of balance—it can feel like there is very little time to work on ourselves.  Therapy is about creating space for positive change. When we do manage to slow down and make room for ourselves, we can grow and create lasting adjustments that make our lives more balanced and enjoyable.  Entering therapy provides that space and opportunity. I work collaboratively with my clients, providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore issues, gain perspective, develop new and creative coping skills, and strengthen one’s relationship with themselves and with others.

My approach is holistic, integrative, and trauma informed, combining art therapy and talk therapy with EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic practices.  All sessions are tailored to the preferences and goals of my clients.  Clients can see me for art therapy and or talk based therapy.  I believe that everyone is inherently creative and capable of change, and that art is a conduit for change no matter one’s experience or skill level.

I'm a patient and compassionate therapist, valuing humor and direct communication, dedicated to supporting my clients in their healing process and personal growth, enacting the changes they desire to see within themselves.

Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses a range of art materials and methods-including painting, drawing, sculpture, and collage, to help you express and process thoughts, feelings, and memories in ways that words alone cannot. Art therapy is an expressive and supportive way to explore your inner self and improve your overall well-being.
