Jennifer Atlas, MFA, MA, LCAT, CLAT, ATR-BC, is a psychotherapist, art therapist, and artist based in New York. Licensed in both New York and Connecticut, she is nationally board-certified by the Art Therapy Credentials Board. With over ten years of clinical experience, Jennifer has worked with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds in private practice, schools, hospitals, and community settings, including inpatient psychiatric care and addiction treatment.
She specializes in trauma (including grief, infertility, and complex trauma), ADHD, addiction and substance use, as well as general mental health and wellness concerns such as life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress management, relationships, and creative blocks.
Jennifer takes a humanistic, integrative approach, combining art therapy, talk therapy, EMDR, and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and holistic healing. Dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative space, she helps clients reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
Her practice is inclusive and affirming, welcoming neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Grounded in compassion and creativity, Jennifer tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.
