Art Therapy

"Being human is not about being any one particular way; it is about being as life creates you–with your own strengths and weaknesses, gifts and challenges, quirks and oddities" -Kristen Neff
Welcome
I believe that being in therapy is about creating space for positive change. When we can slow down and make room for ourselves, we can grow and create lasting adjustments that make our lives more balanced and enjoyable. I work collaboratively with my clients, providing a safe and non-judgmental space to explore issues, problem solve, navigate life transitions, develop new and creative coping skills, and strengthen one’s relationship with themselves and with others.

My approach is integrative, holistic and trauma informed, combining talk therapy and art therapy with EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic practices. All sessions are tailored to the preferences and goals of my clients. I specialize in helping with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, trauma/ptsd, adhd,
stress management and addiction/substance use. Clients can see me for talk based therapy and or art therapy. Art therapy is for everyone, not just people who identify as artists or have experience with the visual arts.

I'm a patient and compassionate therapist, valuing humor and direct communication, dedicated to supporting my clients in their healing process and personal growth, enacting the changes they desire to see within themselves.
