About Jennifer

Jennifer Atlas, MFA, MA, LCAT, CLAT, ATR-BC, is a psychotherapist and art therapist in private practice in the Oyster Bay area of Nassau County, New York. Licensed in New York and Connecticut and nationally board-certified by the Art Therapy Credentials Board, she brings over 12 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, and adults in private practice, schools, hospitals, and community settings.

Jennifer specializes in trauma, ADHD, and supporting women navigating late-identified ADHD and complex trauma. Her approach is integrative and humanistic — weaving together art therapy, talk therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and meaningful, lasting change. She is particularly drawn to working with clients who feel stuck, disconnected, or are searching for a different kind of therapeutic experience — one that goes beyond words.

As both a clinician and an artist, Jennifer brings a deep personal understanding of the creative process and its capacity for healing. She is committed to creating a warm, collaborative space where clients can reconnect with themselves, build on their strengths, and move toward the life they want.
